Best Second Albums from Artists
In our Season 2 opener (!) of our podcast, we figured it made sense to discuss the best second albums from artists — albums that either had songs that made them huge, or albums that were total (continued) perfection, or albums that are worth revisiting after so many years and appreciating.
It was a tough list to put together (all mixes are tough, aren’t they?) but we ended up with a pretty spectacular mix with one of the best opening tracks in my opinion — David Bowie’s Space Oddity.
You can listen to the episode (with music) on Spotify here, or you can listen to the original recording (no music) on any of these players.
Here’s the mix:
Space Oddity by David Bowie
Rosalita by Bruce Springsteen
The Good Life by Weezer
I Can’t See Texas From Here by George Strait
Thrift Shop by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis
Biscuits by Kacey Musgraves
3005 by Childish Gambino
Netflix Trip by AJR
Horchata by Vampire Weekend
Dirty Little Secret by The All-American Rejects
Everlong by Foo Fighteres
Gone by Kanye West
