My ultimate throwback rock music mix tape

Ok, so we all have our favorite genres of music, right? Mine is, without hesitation, rock & hard rock. I mean the explosion of feels when you put on headphones, crank the volume (and ignore all the health warnings which I do not recommend), and lose yourself to the drums, guitars, screaming vocals and moodiness… there’s very little that’s better than that.

I’ve been working on a mix tape that I can just hit play on whenever I have no idea what I want to listen to. It definitely breaks the rules of only being 12 songs — it’s 38 and counting — but that’s the magic of playlists over mix tapes, right? (Or I guess multi-volume mix tapes if we’re really talking old school here).

I’m sure there are entries missing here. For example, I never really got into Slipknot, but it seems like it’d be right up my alley. I’d happily take suggestions of course — feel free to comment below or reach out on Instagram — but for now, I am so thrilled with this mix.
